The Animal Services Department provides a response for complaints concerning domestic animals, reptiles and livestock.

The Animal Control Officer is responsible for impounding animals that are aggressive, quarantining animals that have bitten humans, and disposing of dead animals.

If you see an injured animal or hear barking dogs, please contact Animal Services so that Animal Control or an officer can respond. If you have a situation with a dangerous or aggressive dog, please call 911.

If you have a non-life-threatening concern regarding a wild animal, please refer to the information on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website. For specific tips regarding coyotes, visit their page on Urban Coyotes.

For general information regarding a lost or found animal, or other questions regarding animals, please call the Animal Control Officer at 817-825-5406, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
