The Investigations Division is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations into serious and complex crimes reported to the department.

Detectives gather and analyze evidence, interview victims and witnesses, identify and apprehend offenders, and prepare thorough cases for prosecution. The division works closely with patrol officers, prosecutors, and other law enforcement and criminal justice agencies to develop cases and ensure investigations are conducted professionally and thoroughly.

Detectives also provide continued support to victims and assist in addressing ongoing investigative needs as cases progress through the criminal justice system.
